I am stronger than I think I am. Even though I have felt on the verge of a breakdown for months now, and it feels like the breaking point is just around the corner, somehow I envision myself truly tortured by failure and but still continuing to invest everything I have into a completely worthless endeavor… forever…. until I die…constantly angry, bitter, and expecting to snap, go nuts and live in a yurt in the middle of no where with no contact with the outside world. We all know that is not going to happen. I am going to keep keeping on for no reason other than I am too stubborn to stop. I really hope I am wrong, I really hope one day, in the not so far off future, I will catch my break and stop having to fight like this. Blah blah blah angst blah I have a cold so I’m allowed to be a whiney bitch.
Or maybe I will go insane and live in a yurt some place. Realistically, maybe I will live in a car some place. Maybe I will go off and make incredible photographs and return a decade or so later, everyone having thought I was dead and that my body was decomposing in a yurt or abandoned car some place… but no, I will be alive, and a genius, and I will be like a phoenix…rising from the flames…rising from the flames of my insanity.
People should start placing bets on me.

My city right now. I walked over and saw this today. I’m gonna miss Chicago, this storm reminded me that it’s home. This is my community. What a crazy way to spend my last days here.
